Early in life Megan moved with her family from her birthplace of Anderson, South Carolina to Old Lyme, Connecticut. It was in this small coastal community that Megan’s love for music and the sea grew. This love grew into the mezmorizing songs and sounds of “The Siren of the Sea.”


A world traveler, Megan has performed in Mexico, Trinidad, GuineaMegan-Lurose-photo1 and Spain as well as making numerous appearances in the USA. Megan’s debut CD-“Life Like A Gypsy,” was recorded in Port of Spain, Trinidad.


Upon returning to the US, Megan completed her second CD, “Siren of the Sea.” Recorded at Gradwell House Studios in Haddon Heights, New Jersey and mixed and mastered at A-Pawling Studio in New York.


Megan’s newest CD is a bi-lingual CD in Spanish and English titled “Tan Dulce Como Tu” “As Sweet As You” produced by four-time Grammy winner Ray Santos and recorded by Guido Diaz (Celia Cruz, India) at Skylight Studio in Union, New Jersey.


Megan’s style is contemporary folk with jazz, blues and latin influences that appeals to all ages. Just as the mythical sirens of old, her voice may draw you into captivity. Open your ears and open your heart to the magical sounds of “The Siren of the Sea.”-Megan LuRose
